Instructions for Joining the Forums

Thank you for your interest in contributing to our forums (i.e. message boards).

As we all know, SPAM is annoying. That is why we have taken the necessary steps to protect our message boards by adding additional security measures to keep the spammers out and to ensure you get the most out of the forums.

Anyone can read the forums, but to interact with others and post messages, you will need to follow some very simple steps.

1. Go to our forums page and click on "Register" to create a new user account.
2. On the next page, you will need to verify that you are older than 13, but don't worry, you do not need to provide your birth date, you only need to click whether or not you were born before or after the current date, 13 years ago.
3. Read and agree to the terms of use
4. Complete the registration on the next page (name, e-mail address, password and confirmation code)
5. Click on "Submit"
6. Log back in and then go to the "User Control Panel" via the link at the top of the page
7. On the left "Options" menu, click on "Usergroups"
8. Look for the "Approved Members" item in "Groups" section and click the radio button to the right
9. Click the "Submit" button
10. On the next page, you will be asked if you are sure you want to join the group, click "yes"
11. A board administrator will review your request and then add you - if you don't appear to be a spammer!
